Upload guide: what photo works best

Upload a close selfie of just yourself, shot from the front, where your face is big in the frame and you are looking directly into the camera.

• Eyes: Your eyes should be open, visible, and aimed at the camera. No sunglasses, and no strands of hair crossing your face — eye contact is what this template is organised around.
• Framing: Keep it tight. Head and shoulders, or a close upper-body crop, works; a standing photo or a wide shot does not, because the camera in this template is already very close and needs a large face to start from.
• Just you: Only one person should be in the photo. If someone else is standing next to you, or if it is a group shot, do not use it for this template.
• Mouth: Nothing should cover your lips or jaw — not a hand, not a mask, not a phone. The model has to read your mouth shape clearly to animate this action.
• Light and sharpness: Choose a sharp, recent, high-resolution image with even, bright light on your face. Avoid dark rooms, motion blur, screenshots with bars and buttons, pictures of a screen, and filters that change the shape of your face.
• Outfit: The clothes in your photo are the clothes that will show up in the result, so wear what you want to see. That includes a bikini top you like — and it also includes a jacket that covers your shoulders, so choose with that in mind.
• Do not use: distant full-body photos, views from behind, profile-only shots, tiny faces in a large scene, blurry or poorly lit photos, or selfies with other people in them.
